Cork Legend Eamonn Ryan Coaching in Paris

by Eileen

Paris Gaels GAA are very priviliged to welcome Cork Legend, Eamonn Ryan to Paris this weekend. Eamonn is a footballer, hurler, retired teacher and an exceptional coach who has devoted his entire life to playing and coaching Gaelic Games. He’s a man who loves working with enthusiastic players of all levels and we are sure that all our members will enjoy his sessions.

Eamon’s sporting career is an illustrious journey travelled only by the very best Irish sportspersons and since he first donned the red and white of his home club, Watergrasshill in the early 50’s and the black and amber of sister club Glenville in 1961, he has excelled both as a player and coach. He won numerous honours in hurling, football, camogie and over the last 8 years, as coach to Cork ladies senior football teams. In a brief eight years the county has claimed 13 national senior titles including seven All Ireland titles and six National League titles.
